RE: MK-85 Conversion Kit. Go to the Knight Web site if you want one. They sell for around that cost. Then check some of the other stores to see what their prices are. I am wondering why you think you need a 209 conversion for a MK85. Granted they used a #11 cap, but they were one of the most consistent ignition rifles ever.

I would spend the extra money and convert. The 209 gives you a hotter ignition, less chance for a miss fire. I have converted my Wolverine from cap to 209. I would not look back. The $80 is high as mentioned above check around you should be able to get it around $40 to $50 for the conversion kit.

I'm assuming you meant LK93. 1 bolt takes the stock off, 1 bolt takes the trigger off. Then unscrew and remove the hammer assy from the rear, then remove the nipple (assuming #11 ignition) and plug.
